We have noticed an issue with Roundcube where it fails to connect to the email server. To fix this issue, click the logout button in the lower lefthand corner and use your SSO platform credentials to login back in.
The issue stems from the platform invalidating session cookies and this logout/login process refreshes the cookies for your browser session for Roundcude. This is probably a bug in the latest patch update from Roundcube. This is one of the reasons why we usually only run LTS versions of the software. We had to not do that this time around due to a security vulnerability we had to patch.
Additionally, we have installed additional webmail software on our secure cluster to mitigate this issue for our users. We will be installing it in the online portals later this week. In the mean time, you can access the new webmail interface here and use your full email address and SSO password to login.
